Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

A surgical procedure that elevates and reshapes the breast by removing excess skin and repositioning the nipple–areola complex for a firmer, more lifted contour.

After a surgical consultation and measurements, we plan the lift pattern (periareolar, vertical “lollipop”, or inverted-T/anchor) based on tissue quality and goals. The procedure is performed in an accredited theatre with detailed consent, itemised costs and structured aftercare. A lift may be combined with an implant if additional volume is desired.

Consultant-led planning, proportion-first results

We assess skin elasticity, breast tissue, nipple position and chest proportions, then select the safest technique to restore shape and symmetry. We prioritise blood supply, scar placement and long-term stability. You receive written risks, recovery timelines and a follow-up schedule; we proceed conservatively and stage combined procedures when appropriate.

Clinical clarity from consult to aftercare

You’ll receive an evidence-based plan, transparent quotation and care in accredited facilities. We explain scar patterns, sensation change risks and recovery in plain language, with dedicated follow-ups and accessible support. If a lift alone won’t meet your goals, we’ll discuss adjuncts (e.g., implant) or advise “not today”.

General questions

A lift reshapes and elevates existing tissue; augmentation adds volume. If you want higher, firmer shape without extra size, a lift may be enough. For more fullness, we can discuss combining a lift with an implant.
Scar placement depends on technique and degree of lift: around the areola (periareolar), around the areola + vertical line (lollipop), or those plus a fold scar (anchor). We plan for discretion and provide a scar-care programme.
Possible changes in sensation can occur and often improve over time. Breastfeeding may still be possible, but it depends on anatomy and technique. We discuss this during consultation and plan accordingly.
Most desk workers return in 7–10 days. A support bra is worn for ~6 weeks. Light walking from day one; avoid heavy lifting and chest strain for about 6 weeks or as advised.
Results are long-lasting, but ageing, gravity, weight change and pregnancy can alter shape over time. Maintaining stable weight and good support helps preserve outcomes; revisions can be discussed if needed.
