TCA Peel (Trichloroacetic Acid)

A aesthetician-led medium-depth chemical peel (strength tailored) to target photoageing, dyschromia and selected acne scarring with controlled coagulation of the epidermis/upper dermis.

After a medical assessment and prep plan, we apply TCA in passes to clinical end-points (e.g., frost), then guide healing with strict aftercare. Depth is adjusted to your skin and indications. Downtime is expected; courses or staged areas may be recommended.

Measured depth, strict protocols, safer healing

We select concentration and passes based on skin type, pigment risk and goals, sometimes combining with priming agents or focal CROSS for scars. We emphasise sun avoidance, barrier support and follow-up checks.

Consultant oversight and depth control

We use conservative endpoints, detailed consent and close follow-up. Your plan includes preparation, recovery guidance and escalation only when safe. If a different modality is better, we’ll recommend it.

General questions

Photoageing, mottled pigmentation, texture change and selected atrophic acne scars. Suitability is confirmed after examination.
Expect redness, tightness and visible peeling over 5–7+ days, with pinkness that fades over weeks. Social downtime is higher than AHA/BHA peels.
It can be, with careful prep, conservative depth and rigorous SPF; PIH risk is higher, so selection and aftercare are critical.
Some patients benefit from a single session; others from staged treatments 8–12 weeks apart, or focal CROSS for scars. We individualise the plan.
Prolonged redness, PIH/PAH, infection, herpes reactivation, scarring (rare), demarcation lines and textural change if over-treated. We mitigate with depth control and aftercare.
