Good candidates have a long upper lip with limited dental show at rest, stable health and realistic goals. Suitability is confirmed after measurement and facial analysis.
Typically at the base of the nose (subnasal), concealed along natural curves. Corner lip lift scars sit at the mouth corners in selected cases. We plan for discretion and provide scar-care guidance.
Swelling and tightness are expected for 1–2 weeks. Sutures (if non-absorbable) are usually removed at ~5–7 days. Many return to desk work in ~5–7 days; fine refinement continues over several weeks.
They do different things. A lip lift increases dental show and shortens the philtrum; filler adds volume/shape. Some patients use both, often spacing treatments for safety and proportion.
Bleeding, infection, scars, asymmetry, over- or under-correction, altered lip closure, changes in smile dynamics, and need for revision. Full consent and aftercare are provided.
